Today the various Tewkesbury Tigers rugby teams were playing against Drybrook RFC.
The under nines were playing away, everyone met at the Tewkesbury club house and left for Drybrook at 09:30. The weather was good, the sun was shining 🙂 a great day for driving through the Forest of Dean.
The boys played 2 x 20 minute matches today and they played there hearts out! It was the best rugby they have ever played, they haveall really improved.
The first match was a draw at one try each. Max scored for Tewkesbury. Thomas was awarded man of the match.
In the second match the Tewkesbury Tigers played even better and won 4 – 0
The try scorers for Tewkesbury in the second match was Ben(1) and Max(3)
Gordon and myself decided there would not be a man of the match for the second game as the whole team played fantastically. The whole team was awarded “Man of the Match”.
If the Tewkesbury Tigers U9’s carry on playing like they did today, there will be no stopping them. All they need to do now is remember not to play the ball if they are not on there feet.
Mason must of got bored of watching and decided he would go and climb a tree, I though we would need a ladder to get him down 🙂
