Acclaimed handset manufacturer HTC’s new HTC Desire HD and Desire Z smartphones boast of their respective striking features that enable them to stand apart from others.
The HTC Desire HD comes equipped with 4.3-inch touchscreen, an 8-megapixel photo snapper with dual-LED flash and 720p video, a 1230 mAh battery and a 1GHz processor.
The Desire Z smartphone has the more standard 3.7-inch touchscreen, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto-focus and flash with 720p video, a 1300 mAh battery and a processor that is 200 MHz lesser than that of the HTC Desire HD smartphone’s battery.
The Desire HD touts 768MB of RAM, while the Z handset comes with 512MB of RAM. But, the Desire Z’s stronger battery gives it around 30 minutes more talk time than the Desire HD.
Furthermore, when it comes to typing the Desire Z smartphone outshines the HTC Desire HD as it also features physical QWERTY keyboard, while the Desire HD has only a virtual keyboard.
The Desire HD weighs easier to handle as it weighs just 164 grams while the Z handset weighs 180 grams. The additional weight is the result of sliding keyboard.
HTC has tried its best to add striking features to both the handsets, but overall it is the HTC Desire HD that is worthy of the extra attention.
